Bought a 16GB HC-SD card from Ebay. It came from China. While trying to copy my music files to it, get Error?

0×80070570. When I look at the files on the SD card, several of them look like they are in Chinese. I can’t delete them – get error "file name is not valid or too long" or it says they are system files. Can’t open them. All I can do is reformat the SD card. I have tried loading several different music files to this SD card and get the same error using different data. Seems like the most room I can use on the SD card is 4 GB. I have also tried scanning & fixing the removable disk and chosen to automatically fix file system errors and scan for & attempt recovery of bad sectors. I have used AVG to scan both my input files and the SD card. It finds no problems.

What is the make/brand? The drive may be a U3 which has a protected disc image on it with software. If it comes preinstalled with trojans and viruses from China it would be nice to know what to avoid in the future.

http://www.cdavis.us/2007/06/12/remove-the-u3-partition-from-that-usb-drive/ has a link to uninstall sofwtare to get rid of common U3 partitions. That’s worth trying first.
