I have a question…. on the mytouch,when u said to take out the battery and then reboot to recovery,well if I want to put MILGN 3.3 hero rom,what do I do from there?

hey dude. so i just did the partiton on my sd card. My apps were stored on my sd card yeah!! but now when I add a new app, app get stored on my g1. The reason I noticed that is because my internal storage memory goes and not the secondary sd memory or is that suppose to happen? I want all my apps to get stored on my sd card. I have a 8 gig class 4sd card runing on cyanagen 4.2.13 with armorans flash recovery.
will this also work for the droid
It does not kill the SD card, but it does burn out your SD card faster.

i cnnt go 2 my home srceen
if i have already partitioned the sd card and put files in there. I realized that I had only partioned the swap and the ext2 can i go back to the recovery screen to convert ext2 to ext3? or do i have to repartition all over again deleting all the files in it? Apologize if i sound noobish LOL still learning!

Hey man when i was zipping the Hero thing it said Error, so then i decided to do the Partition on the SD once i did that, the Hero Zip wouldnt come out, and i tried to turn my phone on and it just stays stuck on the “T-mobile G1″ Screen!! help asap please.

thankfully it wasnt bricked, i got the HEro zip it looks good and stuff, but it seems to be slowish on my G1, how to i return to My standard G1? 1.6 and everything.

how do you delete the partitions?
@ItsAndroidWorld If Im loading my first rom ever… do I have to reboot after I partition and go to ext 3 OR do I partition and upgrade to ext and load my rom (Super D 1.10.2) and then reboot?

@BankheadButcher well what i do is donwload my rom (if its super d make sure u have the base that he says u NEED) then i partition 0 linux swap, 512 ext2 (upgrade to ext3, then ext4) and remainder fat 32, then i hit reboot and go BACK into recovery right away, then usb-ms toggle, place base and super d on sdcard, eject, reboot back to recovery AGAIN, flash base, and RIGHT when its done flash super d. then youll be good. but ill make a video soon, super d 1/10.3 is almost out and its CRAZY!!!
@ItsAndroidsWorld Thats with the stock 1gb sd card right? and is this how the partitioning should be set
swap size = 0?
ext = 512
fat32 = remainder
oh and superd1.10.2. says “partition must be Ext3″ so is the ext4 upgrade still necessary?
@BankheadButcher o ya then ext3. although i NEVER use ANY partitions on a donut rom, im oNLY on fat32
What does partitioning do? I don’t really get how this is required for anything
