If your computer can’t see the card then a recovery program cannot work as it cannot see the card. It does not look good, but it is not necessarily all bad. I have had something similar happen several times and have managed to recover the card by using another computer system. I have both Macs & PCs and often when a PC can’t read a card the Mac can. You mount it on a mac and use the disk tool to "Repair" the card – it will do so without wiping data. Try reading it on a Mac – pop into a Mac store if you don’t have any other way to access a Mac – explain to the staff what has happened. They usually love a chance to show off.
Okay there, first of all don’t worry there are lots of things you can do, first you need image rescue software, sandisk memory cards guive you a free copy when you buy one of their cards, second you can download image rescue from lexar.com and if you need help then send me an email and I ‘ll guive a direct more options.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news… but the card is finished… this is one reason why when you are finished taking the pictures you are to back up the photos either to CD/DVD or to some other media. You’ve already used the resources that are available. i had a brand new 8 gig CF card give me a card error in the middle of a shoot… not even the manufacturer could retrieve my images
Oh dear…. I think you’ve already tried everything you can try… sorry.
But for future reference:
It sounds like you are treating your memory card as a permanent image storage facility – a very bad idea!!!
Memory cards can and do fail, and sooner or later you would have lost them, anyway.
The correct thing to do is this:
After a day’s shooting, download your photos to your computer.
Backup your images (e.g. onto a CD/DVD).
Post process, sort, delete, etc, then back up the "good" copies somewhere else.
When you have them safely on your computer, format the card in your camera. That erases the photos, but also erases "housekeeping" stuff and errors. It isn’t a guarantee, but formatting improves your chances of trouble free use of your memory card.
There are many mobile options for storing and viewing photos, your camera is a very bad choice for that.
