SD Card Recovery

Some how all my pics, music, everything is gone from my card. I took the card out of my Blackberry Bold and when I went to put the card back in all pictures were gone. Now when I put the card in my phone it ask if I want to format the card….. should I do this? If I do this will all my pics be gone for good. I found and app (http://www.easeus.com/resource/sd-card-format-recovery.htm) to use to hopefully recover my data but when I insert the card into my laptop and it asked the same question… do you want to format card? Please help… there are pics of my kids that I really want to save that are only on this card!!!
