My video on how to root: www.youtube.com Cyanogenmod zip: cyanogenmod-mirror.local.host.name GAPPS: www.tap3w0rm.com Radio (WiMax isn’t compatible with CM yet): www.mediafire.com Step by step instructions: 1. Root your phone first (see my other video) 2. BACK UP YOUR DATA!!!!!! Contacts, apps, etc. 3. Download the two zip files linked above (cyanogen and GAPPS). 4. Connect your phone as a USB device, transfer the zip files (DON’T unzip them) to your SD card (just the SD card, not in a folder within the SD card) 5. Turn off your phone, and restart in recovery mode by holding down the power and volume down buttons at the same time until it comes up with a white screen and some lettering. 6. Scroll down and select “recovery”. Give it a second. 7. In recovery, scroll down and wipe data. 8. After that, wipe the cache. 9. After, select “install zip from SD”, and scroll down and install the Cyanogen .zip file. 10. After that, do the same with the GAPPS .zip file. 11. Reboot your phone. Sometimes you may have to do this a 2nd time if it glitches. 12. Resync your phone with your google account and restore the apps and contacts (if you had them backed up). Enjoy cyanogen!
